While China’s economy is shifting from high growth rates to medium-high growth rates, its manufacturing sector will also upgrade from a medium-low level to a medium-high level. Premier Li Keqiang referred to the above as “double medium-high” when he met with Kundapur Vamam Kamath, the President of BRICS New Development Bank. The goal of reaching the “double medium-high” is to improve China’s core competitiveness and boost economic and social development.
