Last but not least, good colleagues are not a minor consideration either. As we all know, good colleagues provide a supportive work environment, and therefore can also foster teamwork and cooperation in your job. On the other hand, not so helpful colleagues will cause frustration and reduce productivity.
2.What is important when preparing for a job interview? Studying the job advertisement, Finding out about the company
To begin with, studying the job ad is a crucial first step. Only by doing so can you fully understand the employer’s requirements on qualification, experience, skills and so on. In this way, you wouldn’t be wasting your time applying for the wrong position.
Another important thing to do is to find out about the company. This may be done in many ways. For example, there are often articles about larger companies in newspapers and international business magazines. Visiting the firm’s website is also a neat idea. Many firms even provide their annual reports for free download on their homepages. Of course, if possible, the best way is simply to ask someone, say a friend or a colleague, who knows about the firm well.
