The term "Agricultural Land Transfer" refers to the behavior of agricultural households reserving the contractual rights of their land and transfer of the management rights to other agricultural households or economic organizations through legal forms. As a product of the rural economic development to some extent, the agricultural land transfer makes possible large-scale, intensive and modern operations. General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that land transfer and large-scale operation in multiple forms is an inevitable route for the development of modern agriculture and represents the general direction of agricultural reform.
