Agricultural modernization serves as the foundation for national modernization. Carrying forward the agricultural modernization drive must firmly concentrate on national food safety as the core task, and the basic requirements of "Chinese characteristics" and "newness". At present, China is in the key period of building a well-off society in an all-round way and accelerating socialist modernization. The environmental conditions and internal motivations for agricultural development are undergoing profound changes, therefore, speeding up agricultural modernization has become more significant and urgent.
